Message from our Co-Chairs

Dear Friends,

Lincoln citizens love their parks. Studies show that our parks system ranks as one of the best in the nation. It enhances our quality of life, and attracts people and businesses to locate here.

By leveraging public and private dollars, we now have an opportunity to turn a major flood control and traffic improvement area into a very unique urban park. Union Plaza will serve as a community gathering place for entertainment, education and city-wide festivals. It will greatly enhance the wonderful park system we already enjoy in Lincoln, and attract others to visit.

The Lincoln Parks Foundation is proud to lead a fundraising campaign that will help finish this park and take care of it forever. As co-chairs of this campaign, we urge you to participate. With your help, Union Plaza will be built and open to the public in 2010.

Your donations will live forever in the heart of our city, and will help build a park that everyone will enjoy for many years to come.

Help us in this special opportunity to insure the feature beauty of our Capital City.

Sincerely,
