| Fall Tree Planting Ceremony Antelope Park Legacy Tree Grove |
| Legacy Tree Groves At Antelope Park & Mahoney Park
People in Lincoln love trees and often feel the need to give a gift of a tree back to the community. Lincoln's Legacy Tree Grove program allows people to give the gift of a tree to be planted in Lincoln's parks. Initial program funding was also provided by the Lincoln Community Foundation, the Ken Good Environmental Enhancement Fund, and the Marjorie Barstow Environmental Enhancement Fund.
Donors can contribute towards the purchase, planting and maintenance of a tree in perpetuity. Legacy Tree Groves have been established at Antelope Park and Mahoney Park. The Antelope Park Grove is located between the Liberty Bell Plaza and the Four Wars Memorial. The Mahoney Park Grove is located at the east end of Mahoney Park past the ball fields.
Donors will receive an invitation to tree plantings and brick installation ceremonies which occur each spring and fall based upon donor participation.
